Arogya Mela Participation. |

|
University participated in Arogya Mela in Jaipur on 6-9 January 2012. This Mela was organized by Ayush Dept., Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, Deptt. of Ayurved and Bhartiya Chikitsa, Govt. of Rajasthan and Federetion of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI). All the information regarding the courses conducted by the University and the facilities available in the University were exhibited through brochures, leaflets, video presentation on LCD, Charts, Flexes etc. University Stall was visited by the eminent dignitaries including Sh. Ghulam Nabi Azad, Hon'ble Minister, Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, Sh. Ashok Gehlot, Hon'ble Chief Minister, Rajasthan, Sh. Aimaduddin Ahmad Khan (Durru), Hon`ble Ayurved Minister, Govt. of Rajasthan, Dr. Rajkumar Sharma, Hon'ble Minister of State forAyurved, Govt. of Rajasthan, Sh.
Ashok Shekhar, Principal Secretary, Dept. of Ayurved and Bhartiya Chikitsa, Govt. of Rajasthan and others.
Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Radhey Shyam Sharma inaugurated the series of lectures on health by delivering key note address organized during the event for the public.
Computerised Prakriti Parikshan and Health Consultation were the key features provided free of cost by the renowned medical experts of the University during the five days long event.

National Youth Day Celebration. |

Swami Vivekanand Jayanti was celebrated as National Youth day on 12th January, 2012 in University College of Ayurved. The Chief guest Prof. RP Singh, Deputy Registrar, Dr. Sarvepalli Rajasthan Ayurved University, Dr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma Associate Prof., Deptt. of Rachana Shareer and Incharge, Central Library, SRRAU, were the chief guest on the occasion.
Teachings of Swami Vivekanand, moral values, patriotism, utilisation of youth in social and national concern were the main issues dicussed on this occasion.

Lecture of Shramani Chaityapragya. |

Shramani Chaityapragya from Jain Vishwabharati University, Ladnun, Nagaur delivered a lecture on "Meditation & Health" on 18th January 2012 in the University College of Ayurved Campus. Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Radhey Shyam Sharma, Principal Prof. K. Govardhan and other Faculty Members of University College of Ayurved were present on this occasion.

Inter classes sports and cultural Competition. |

|
Inter classes sports and cultural Competition was organized from 23rd to 25th of January, 2012 for the University College of Ayurved and University Ayush Nursing Training Centre Students in the University Campus. Dr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Associate Professor, Deptt. of Rachana Shareer and In charge, Sports was the Convener of the Competition.
Cricket, Vollebal, Badminton, Table Tennis, 100 Metres Race, in the sports segment, Solo Song and Solo Dance, Group Song and Group Song & Mimicry/Mono acting in the Cultural Segment were organized during this competition. Students of both the institutions participated in this competition with full zeal and enthusiasm and showed their best during the games and won the prizes and certificate of appreciation.

Republic Day Celebration. |

Republic Day was celebrated with in the SRRAU Campus on 26 Jan. 2012 with great enthusiasm and patriotism. Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Radhey Shyam Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion.
Hon'ble chief guest remembered the freedom fighters who laid there lives in the way to independence. He emphasized the need of national and social harmony on this occasion. He said that University is heading to achieve its goal of raising the status of AYUSH systems on the global level.
Many Students presented patriotic songs and poems in a beautiful Cultural Programme organized on that occasion.
Smt. Veena Lahoti, Registrar Prof. RP Singh, Deputy Registrar, Prof. Chakrapany Sharma, Acting Principal, University College of Ayurved and other faculty of University college of Ayurved along with other Administrative officers were present at the occasion.

Computer Lab Inauguration. |

Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Radhey Shyam Sharma inaugurated a fully furnished Computer Lab in the University Campus on 26th January 2012.
On this occasion Hon'ble VC Sir said that use of Computer Technology in this modern era has become inevitable. It is not only important for the personal development but useful for the overall development of AYUSH Systems of Medicines also.

Inauguration of Seven Days Special NSS Camp. |

A seven days special NSS camp was inaugurated by Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Radhey Shyam Sharma on 27th Jan. 2012. On this occasion Hon'ble VC Sir administered the oath of social and national fraternity to the volunteers of NSS.
Prof. Chakrapany Sharma, Acting Principal University College of Ayurved, In charge NSS Unit, University College of Ayurved, Dr. Vishnu Dutt Sharma and other Faculty of the University were present on the occasion.

Ayurvishwa- 2012- A Sports, Culutral and Literary Fest.

|
Ayurvishwa- 2012 a Sports, Cultural and Literary Fest for the all the 45 Ayurved, Unani, Homoeopathy, Yoga & Naturopathy colleges and Ayush Nursing Training Centres will be organized from 13th to 18th Feb. 2012. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Associate Professor & HOD, Kriya Shareer and Principal, University Ayush Nursing Training Centre is nominated as the Organizing Secretary for this fest.

Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Radhey Shyam Sharma has been conferred the Fellow of National Academy of Ayurved (Ayurved Ratna) Award by Rashtriya Ayurved Vidyapeetha, New Delhi, an autonomous body under the Ayush Deptt., Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India in its 18th Convocation held in New Delhi on 6th Feb. 2012.
Prof. Sharma has been conferred this award for his distinguished services for the promotion, propagation and raising the status of the science of Ayurved at the national and international level.

A Free Medical Camp on 06-08 Feb. 2012 was inaugurated by Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Radhey Shyam Sharma on 6th of Feb. 2012. A number of patients of Piles, Fistula, Skin Disorders, Gynecological & Paediatric diseases, ENT, Dental Diseases were treated through Panchkarma, Kshar Sutra and other therapies. |

A Three member Central Council of India Medicine (CCIM) visitation team comprising Dr. V G Udai Kumar (CCIM Member), Dr. Mahesh Vyas, Associate Professor, Gujarat Ayurved University and Dr. Anand Choudhary, Associate Professor, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University inspected the University College of Ayurveda on 24-25 Feb 2012 for the affiliation from CCIM for the 2012-13 session. |
